Find your first tweet.

Two ways: a quick search on X, or your full archive with every tweet in order.

The quick way: advanced search

  1. On X, search for from:yourusername until:2012-12-31, with the date set to the end of the year you joined.
  2. Open the Latest tab and scroll to the bottom.
  3. Narrow the date if there are too many results.

Search can miss tweets, and it doesn’t show replies or deleted tweets reliably.

The sure way: your X archive

Your X archive contains every tweet you posted, with the exact time. Open it in the old tweet search, sort oldest first, and your first tweet is at the top. You can also search every tweet by word and see how many you posted each year.

The archive is read in your browser; it never leaves your device.

FAQ

Can I see my first tweet without an archive?

Often, with advanced search. For a complete and reliable list, use your archive.

Are deleted tweets in my archive?

No. The archive includes the tweets on your account when you request it.

How long does the X archive take?

Usually up to a day. X sends you a notification when it’s ready.
