How can I see my old Instagram stories?
If Story Archive was on, they’re in the app’s Archive. Either way, your data download includes the stories Instagram kept for your account. Drop it here and open “Your posts & stories”.
Can I recover a post I deleted?
Recently deleted posts can be restored in the app for 30 days. After that, your download only contains what Instagram still keeps — often archived items, but not permanently deleted ones.
Why are some photos missing?
Media is only included if you request it. Ask for the download again with media and a higher quality setting.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything is shown from the ZIP inside your browser.
