Can I see who leaves me on read on Instagram?
Instagram doesn’t show it, but your message history does. Unwrapped counts the times you wrote, got no answer for a day or more and wrote again, and lists chats where your last message is still unanswered after a week.
Will the other person know?
No. Nobody is notified and nothing is sent anywhere — the analysis runs on your own device from the file Instagram gives you.
Do you read my messages?
No. The stats only use who sent each message and when. If you open the Message viewer, your chats are shown to you on your own device — they are never stored on a server or uploaded.
Which data do I need to download?
Choose “Messages” (or “All available information”) in Instagram’s Download your information, in JSON format.
Does it include group chats?
Reply times and “left on read” are measured in 1:1 chats only, where they’re meaningful. Group chats still count toward your message totals.
Is it free?
Your own reply time, their average reply time and the counts are free. The names behind each list, Friendship Radar and Friendship Wrapped cards are part of Pro.
