How to see all the posts you liked on Instagram

In the app, “Your activity → Likes” shows only a slice of what you liked. Your data download has the full list, plus your comments and saved posts.

The short answer

  1. Open Accounts Center → Your information and permissions → Download your information.
  2. Choose Likes, Comments and Saved (or all available information), format JSON.
  3. Download the ZIP when Instagram says it’s ready.
  4. Drop it, unopened, on the Likes & comments finder.

What you can find

  • Liked posts: every like Instagram keeps, with the account and the date, one tap from the post.
  • Saved posts: your whole collection in one list.
  • Your comments: search any word you remember, years back.
  • Search by @account, filter by year, and sort newest or oldest first.

Why a post no longer opens

If the owner deleted it, archived it or made their account private, Instagram won’t show it anymore, even though it’s still listed in your data. The entry still tells you the account and the date, which is often enough to jog your memory.

Your file is read in your browser and never uploaded, and nobody is notified. Searching is free; exporting the lists as CSV is part of Plus.
