The short answer

- Choose Want something in particular? and tick Connections, Messages and Invitations.
- Tap Request archive and confirm with your password.
- When LinkedIn e-mails you, download the ZIP from the same page.

- Want something in particular? You pick the files. It’s usually ready in about ten minutes. This is the one to choose for connections and messages.
- Download larger data archive. Everything LinkedIn has, including your account history and what it infers about you. It can take up to 24 hours.
Step by step
- Click Me under your photo at the top. In the app, tap your photo, then Settings.
- Open Data privacy → Get a copy of your data. You can also open the page directly.
- Choose the quick or the full archive. For the quick one, tick Connections, Messages, Invitations, Profile and Positions.

What you can do with it
- See who you know at each company and how your network grew year by year on Unwrapped for LinkedIn.
- Find out who removed you as a connection by comparing two downloads.
- Sort and filter your connections as a spreadsheet.
- Prepare for a job search with a social media clean-up.
Drop the ZIP on Unwrapped for LinkedIn as it is, no need to unzip it. Everything is read on your device and nothing is uploaded.
Keep it safe
The archive holds your private messages and your contacts’ names. Don’t upload it to sites that process it on their servers, and delete extra copies when you’re done.
