Who unfriended me on Facebook?

Facebook sends no notice when a friend removes you. But your friends list is part of your data download — and two downloads a few weeks apart show exactly who is gone.

Why Facebook won’t show it

Unfriending is silent on purpose. Your friend count drops, but Facebook doesn’t say who left — and scrolling hundreds of names to spot one gap doesn’t work.

Your data download has the full list

The Facebook export includes your friends with the date you became friends, plus friends you removed, sent and received requests. Compare two exports and every missing name is someone who unfriended you — or deactivated their account.

How to check it

  1. In Facebook, open Accounts Center → Your information and permissions → Download your information, choose Connections, format JSON.
  2. Drop the ZIP into Unwrapped. It saves a private snapshot on your device.
  3. Download a new export in a few weeks and drop it in again: Who unfriended you lists everyone who disappeared.

Everything stays in your browser. Nothing is uploaded and nobody is notified.

FAQ

Can I see who unfriended me on Facebook?

Not in the app. Comparing two of your own Facebook data downloads shows who left your friends list.

Does it show deactivated accounts too?

Yes — someone who deactivated also disappears from the list, so check their profile before drawing conclusions.

Do I need to give my password?

No. You only open files Facebook gives you. Unwrapped never logs in to your account.
